ChartDesk is a pre-approved solution under the Sea Transport Industry Digital Plan (IDP) from the Singapore Government. It is a joint initiative with Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Enterprise Singapore (ESG) and Skills Future Singapore (SSG), as part of the SME Go Digital Program that makes going digital simple for SMEs. It provides SMEs with an easy-to-use, step-by-step guide to support them in the adoption of digital solutions.
Going through a Digital Transformation will result in more efficiency and lower costs. Nevertheless, the first few steps of this transformation will result in startup costs.
This is why the Singaporean Government will support this type of innovation by subsidizing up to 70% of the cost. This applies to ship agencies. Shipbrokers, shipowners are not eligible.
